Ybrig – our vacation and sport region in the heart of Central Switzerland is also a popular destination for excursions.
This sunny vacation and sport paradise offers relaxation, recreation and sport activities for everyone and is comprised of the Hoch-Ybrig sport center and the two idyllic locations of Oberiberg and Unteriberg/Studen.
In summer there are 170 km of groomed walking and hiking trails which lead through forests and alpine meadows to magnificent vantage points with breathtaking views. While the refreshing alpine air revitalizes the senses, there are rest areas with grill sites and rustic alpine restaurants for relaxing and admiring the landscape. The 18-hole golf course in Ybrig is a must – irresistible due to its enchanting landscape and an ambience that makes you feel at home.
The idyllic Lake Sihl – one of the most natural and beautiful reservoirs – is ideal for sport fans and in the near vicinity.
During the summer/autumn season, visitors under the age of 16 can use all facilities in Hoch-Ybrig free of charge. Senior citizens: a day pass for visitors over 60 years of age is only 10 Swiss francs from mid-August to the end of September.
Winter
With lots of snow and sunshine in winter, the region is a true paradise for all winter sport guests. A number of facilities are available to transport you to a winter wonderland – up to lofty heights in the sun with a view that extends to mountaintops far in the distance. There are a number of rustic mountain restaurants for resting and enjoying the magnificent winter scenery. The numerous possibilities for winter sports in Ybrig are certain to meet everyone’s needs, ranging from families with children to freestyle and snow-savvy riders.
