A kingdom to discover Relax and enjoy
The Animal Park lies in the middle of a massive boulder-strewn area of Goldau and is home to a variety of wildlife. On 17 hectares of natural wilderness deer, bears, muflons, lynx and birds of prey can be observed close-up. Around 90 native and European species have found a home that meets their requirements in their ample enclosures. The Animal Park can be visited throughout the year. Young and old have lots to see and discover. The animals walking freely between the enormous rock formations, the picnic areas, the guided tours, the exhibitions, the zoo information stands and other attractions encourage people to meet the animals – 365 days a year! Enjoying nature with all your senses In spring and summer the Animal Park is an exciting adventure for the whole family as one can reunite with nature and feed and stroke the animals that walk freely in the park. The kids can let out steam on the play ground and the food eaten in the cozy picnic areas tastes better than ever. As if in winter all was asleep! In the Animal Park also the winter season has a particular charm. Nature and animals slow down the rhythm of their lives in order to regain energy and strength. During winter the Animal Park offers much to see and discover. How do the animals prepare themselves for the cold winter, where do they spend it, what do they eat? When the landscape covered with snow becomes silent and magic the animals can be admired in all their beauty. Open daily, always different!
